The Lucky One: Tribute to The Unknown Soldier

There are beautiful and good times in this well-intentioned trifle. A little humor, some action towards the end, and even a bare minimum of erotica pink and blue flower petals. But this is tragic character of tormented soldier who touches the hearts of audiences.

The Lucky One is not an anti-military support, far from it. Director Scott Hicks (a regular romantic film) and writer Will Fetters, inspired by a novel by Nicholas Sparks, without pressing socio-political connotations, were well taken care to make an entertainment clean, smooth, when it is moving time and generally well made.
